Ghazaleh Kafaie Shirmanesh Wins Best Paper Award At 2018 SPIE Optics and Photonics Meeting in San Diego

A-Team grad student Ghazaleh Kafaie Shirmanesh was recognized for her paper, "Reconfigurable beam steering metasurface at telecommunication wavelengths," which proposes an active metasurface with a record-high phase shift that can be employed in beam steering metasurfaces in NIR regime.
