Congratulations to Kristina Malinowski on receiving the 2026 2nd Annual APL Quantum–META Best Paper Award!
Her paper, "Deterministic Photon Addition in a Waveguide Mode," was selected by the
award committee as the First Place Winner in recognition of its outstanding contribution to
the field.
The APL Quantum journal, published by AIP Publishing in partnership with the META
Conference Series, presents this annual award to recognize exceptional early-career
research that bridges fundamental quantum theory with transformative applications in
metamaterials and nanophotonics.
