Jarom Sederholm
Jarom received his BS in Chemical Engineering and minor in Korean at Brigham Young University. There he worked in the lab of Prof. Dean R. Wheeler where he evaluated electrochemical interfaces in Li-ion batteries. He then did his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign supervised by Prof. Paul V. Braun. His dissertation focused on developing a novel electrochemical battery recycling process and exploring thermophysical properties of battery electrolytes. In his free time, Jarom enjoys weightlifting, reading, and cooking/trying new foods with his wife, Phoebe.
