Miles graduated from MIT in 2021 with a double major in Pure Mathematics and Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, as well as a minor in physics. He joined the Atwater group in the fall of 2021, and will likely be exploring how quasiparticles like excitons, trions, biexcitions, etc. effect radiative limits for 2d materials. In his free time, Miles enjoys rock climbing, playing the saxophone, and generally living it up with friends and family.
