Tarique Anwar

Tarique Anwar joined the Atwater Group as Postdoctoral Researcher in September 2026.  He received his Ph.D. from EPFL, where he studied nanoengineered solid–liquid interfaces for sustainable energy technologies. At Caltech, his research brings together photoelectrochemistry, nanophotonics, and nonlinear optical spectroscopy to understand complex interfacial processes in energy systems. He received his B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. Outside the lab, Tarique enjoys weightlifting, hiking, skiing, and climbing
